Membership — Maine Mineralogical & Geological Club

MMGS organizes field trips to significant collecting localities, most of which are not open to the general public, throughout the “dig season”, approximately May through October. MMGS field trips are open only to MMGS members in good standing who have filed a signed release form with the MMGS Field Trip Director. Participation in field trips requires current membership and advance registration, so the actual schedule of trips is sent only to current MMGS members. Space on field trips is limited, so persons who have not registered in advance and received confirmation of their reservation for that trip may not participate.
